Overview of Services

The Aston Clinical Research Core at UT Southwestern’s for the Office of Clinical Research is an institutional resource for investigators designed to support the safe and ethical conduct of research while enhancing the research experience for study participants. The Aston Core provides a set of standard, cost-effective services to supplement resources provided through investigators' own departments and clinics.

The Aston Core staff is dedicated to providing excellent customer service and employing best practices for research procedures to ensure each protocol is managed efficiently and accurately. Overall, the Aston Core strives to be the gold standard of research on campus, providing high-quality, cost-effective research resources and services that facilitate superior translational research outcomes.

Research Nursing Services
Facility-usage-only Visit
Drug Infusions, Phlebotomy, EKGs, etc.
Basic laboratory services or usage of laboratory facilities and equipment
