UTSW Population Research Support Services Facility

Overview of Services

The Population Research Support Services (PRSS) facilitates the execution and management of population research, including collection, management, and analysis of all types of quantitative and qualitative data. Core staff will provide methodology consultation and collaboration to support investigators’ study design, data collection, data analysis, and product needs, placing special emphasis on ensuring that studies are guided by well-established principles for rigorous, high-quality research. The core will include resources to enable all aspects of research in both Spanish and English.

Services
• Project management: Ensuring timely study implementation, including development and execution of recruitment strategies, and facilitation of quantitative data collection and intervention delivery.
• Data analytics & database administration: Building study-specific databases, electronic medical record abstraction, and data management and analysis.
• Qualitative data collection and analysis: Facilitating conduct of qualitative components of research projects, including data collection and analysis.
