Overview of Services

The Biodesign Center is a joint UT Southwestern and UT Dallas hub equipped to provide researchers with the expertise and fabrication services needed to power their research. 

Services include the fabrication of: 

• Custom enclosures 

• Imaging fixtures 

• Prototype devices 

• Animal positioners 

• Sample holders 

• Phantoms 

• Cage inserts 

Materials available include: 

• 3D printed plastic and resin, including flexible materials 

• Laser-cut acrylic, wood, and foam/ rubber sheet 

• Silicone, epoxy, resins, and expanding foam
