Our Skin Biorepository Core is dedicated to advancing skin biology research by creating and maintaining a comprehensive skin biorepository representing those with and without skin diseases. This centralized resource serves as a valuable library for Principal Investigators (PIs) to further research in skin biology and skin diseases. To support these goals, the Skin Biorepository Core offers a wide range of services, including acquisition of new or archived skin and blood samples, processing and embedding, sectioning tissue onto slides, staining, centrifugation, shipping, and personalized consultations with Core Directors who bring extensive expertise in dermatology and related scientific fields. Through these efforts, the Skin Biorepository Core aims to foster collaboration and accelerate discoveries that improve understanding and treatment of skin diseases.
